MI Growing their export business

MI continue to grow their export business, with exciting plans for 2019 ahead for us. In the past 24 months, we have successfully delivered over 5,000 to 48 different countries globally. 2019 sees continued growth in this area of our business, with opening of our German site in Q1, followed by France later in the year.

ITV Tyne Tees and reporter Tom Sheldrick visited MI today, interviewing a number of the team about their personal and business viewpoints with the upcoming Brexit challenges for businesses. Our MD, Alex Ingham, highlighted the increased costs in the business (£3/4m) since the referendum vote in 2016 impacted the business and potential issues with a no deal, including delays and increased import/export duties whilst dealing with customers in Europe.
