MI raising funds for Women v Cancer

MI raising funds for Women v Cancer

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... unashamedly begging post. I am helping my wife raise funds for Breast Cancer Now, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action. I am begging for even a quid please!

My mother in law died from breast cancer when my wife was 8 months pregnant. An unreal time and a mix of pain and joy and lots of tears. Following that my wife, Claire made it her mission to raise as much as possible for women's cancer charities, and since then has raised over £50,000 for charity doing events all around the world.

By sheer awful irony, Claire was diagnosed with cancer on her birthday 4 years ago. We are thankfully through that as best we can as a family but still wanting to raise as much cash as possible, hence my begging post.

For those that know me, you may know I like riding my bike. For those that really know me very well, you will know I can't ride long distances or uphill very well. So on Saturday with unfortunately zero training, with a pinked up bike, and apparently pink glitter and a tutu I will be riding the Tour de France stage 1 route from Harewood House up to Hawes and back down to Harrogate. 190km with 9,000 feet of climbing. The iconic route from 2014 in Yorkshire ending outside the Hotel de Vin in Harrogate.

If anyone can help me raise massively valued funds for these three fantastic charities, I would be hugely grateful.

Every penny you are able to donate will make the world of difference to all of these charities. Thank you so much.

The link is here to donate to my wife's Just Giving page - with thanks for reading my post.

Thank you! Alex Ingham - Managing Director
