MI have been providing Snickers Workwear continuous innovations for two decades, this has now led to the launch of groundbreaking integrated kneepads in their premium stretch trousers. This pioneering design, featuring certified kneepads seamlessly built into the trousers, sets a new standard in workwear functionality. Low-profile, comfortable impact protection
Our brand new Snickers 6590 AllroundWork, Stretch Trousers Capsulized™ Kneepads Holster Pockets represent the culmination of a rigorous three-year research and development effort. At MI we are always wanting workwear to crossover to sports and technical. These trousers showcase an ingenious fusion of state-of-the-art sportswear technology with the time-honored expertise in workwear from our brand. Crafted for craftsmen in constant motion, these trousers offer the unmatched blend of flexibility and durability, featuring welded-in, certified knee protection, making them the natural choice for those seeking superior mobility and reliable safeguarding.
As with a number of premium work trousers at MI, we are now including an integrated belt and buckle. The holster pockets are further reinforced with CORDURA® to ensure rubbing or catching is not going to tear as easy. The pockets also have a clever zipped compartment. The garment has 2-way stretch fabric in main areas with CORDURA® reinforced areas again, similar to the holster pockets. The technical term is "key stress points" but we mean the crotch area, where the fabric is 4-way stretch panels to give more stretch, enabling the trouser to move with you and not rip!
The making of Capsulized™
The Capsulized™ kneepads are meticulously crafted, utilizing a specialized process involving 196°C pressurized heat to weld their components. These kneepads boast an outer layer of resilient CORDURA® stretch fabric, followed by an adhesive layer enhancing flexibility and linking it to a high-density blue foam engineered for 110 kg impact absorption. Adding to the protection is a purple shield of high-density recycled rubber, offering an impressive 238 kg density for penetration defense. A layer of grey foam with an additional 80 kg density ensures comfort, all sealed within a polyester fabric backend, delivering both security and wearer comfort.

The Snickers Capsulized™ kneepad's six distinct layers interact to effectively disperse energy generated during knee-intensive work. The outer layers excel in shielding against hard surfaces, ensuring protection, while the inner layers prioritize wearer comfort, creating a balance between safeguarding and comfort during demanding tasks.
