Updated Border Issues and Shipping Information
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT UPDATE ON DELIVERIES AND BREXIT BORDER ISSUES
Good Morning,
If you have ordered with us in the past 2-3 weeks (or indeed with other workwear suppliers in the UK), you may have encountered frustrating delays. We are trying to update people as much as possible without bombarding with too much information. I expect you will have seen the issues reported in the media also.
Please note the current situation relating to stocks in the UK or from our European warehouses as per below.
Due to ever changing issues with stock movements from our warehouses in Europe, we are updating our blog daily to update all customers. Each day the situation is changing in terms of our parcels for you coming from our European warehouses. We expect things to be back to normal by end of next week, but presently there are significant issues at Borders with parcels not able to come in to the UK.
I can confirm if you are waiting for your order, it is successfully in our system so please don't worry that it isn't there.
We are expecting a lot of announcements today from couriers such as DPD as to some move back to normality.
Brand Updates - as of 13th January 2020 5pm
Carhartt - Delays of approx 10 days on top of our estimated despatch time, however all top lines available on 24 hour despatch here.
Mascot - Delays of approx 10 days on top of our estimated despatch time.
Helly Hansen - Serious delays on all orders. Delivery on Helly Hansen orders that you have placed will be towards end of January. Helly products are now not available to order until 20th January. **Any Helly Hansen item you require, if you are in urgent need, we will swtich to an alternative brand regardless of how much extra is costs us as a business. Please email customersservices@misupplies.co.uk if you want us to look at this for you**
Caterpillar - No current delays.
Puma - No current delays.
Dr Martens - No current delays.
Snickers - Delay of 10 days currently on top of our estimated despatch time.
Portwest - No current delays.
Rockfall - No current delays.
Amblers - No current delays.
Uneek - No current delays.
Dassy - Delays of approx 10 days on top of our estimated despatch time.
Fruit of the Loom - No current delays.
Regatta - No current delays.
Our delivery service to Republic of Ireland has restarted today, and we will be reviewing this daily to ensure smooth running. If you are an Ireland customer you DO NOT need to do anything with regards to import documentation. We have organised all this for you.
If you have not recieved your delivery, but have had a despatch notification please allow a few more days for a further update.
We successfully despatched orders to Republic of Ireland last week (week commencing 4th January) however DPD are returning these all to us en masse, without any valid reason. These are being resent out at our own cost upon return to us.
Upon despatch of your order, you will receive a further update to your order leaving us and a tracking link to enable you to track your order successfully.
We have taken significant steps to mitigate the current situation of our European warehouse delays as much as possible. This has included increasing our stocks further in our UK Warehouse (we are the biggest stockist of Carhartt in UK) and increased our warehouse picking team by 300%, extra shift patterns and weekend work to keep our orders flowing as fast as possible. We aim to be the biggest Carhartt stockist in Europe in 2021 which will help to avoid waiting to update any stocks.
However this simply has not been able to cope with the absolutely unprecedented issues at customs over the past 2 weeks. We are moving thousands of items daily from European warehouses and this is causing any issue you may have encountered.
I am likely to send a daily email out to ensure we update our customers as much as possible.
